IN-L vs NZ-L T20 Match Prediction & Betting Tips, Road Safety World Series 2022
India Legends will take on New Zealand Legends in Match 12 of the Road Safety World Series at the Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore. The game begins at 19:30 local time on Monday 19th September.
The 2021 Champions have begun this campaign in strong form and have registered a big win over South Africa Legends by 61 runs before their clash against West Indies Legends was washed out without a ball being bowled. They should be fresh and raring to go for this match.
Stuart Binny top scored with 82 not out from 42 balls against South Africa Legends. He hit 11 boundaries with six of them going all the way for six. Yusuf Pathan also struck a very entertaining 35 not out from 15 balls from number six in the batting order. Sachin Tendulkar and Naman Ojha opened the batting in Match 1 and we expect the same here.
The wickets were shared around in the win over South Africa Legends with five of the seven bowlers used dismissing batters. Only Manpreet Gony and Suresh Raina went wicketless with Rahul Sharma ending the game with 3-17. We expect the spin of Sharma to be a major threat again in this match.
After playing nine games across both tournaments, India Legends have still only suffered one defeat. They have not been beaten in any of their last five games.
New Zealand Legends
The newest side in the competition have won one and lost one so far with their defeat coming against South Africa Legends before a comprehensive win over Bangladesh Legends. They are yet to pass 100 in either of their innings with the bat.
Right handed number three batter, Dean Brownlie, has top scored for New Zealand Legends in both games of the tournament so far. He hit 31 not out from 19 balls against Bangladesh Legends and was well supported by captain Ross Taylor who made a 17-ball 30 not out.
Kyle Mills took 2-11 from two overs and took the Player of the Match Award against Bangladesh Legends in his first appearance in this campaign. Hamish Bennett took 1-20 in that game with Bruce Martin taking the only wicket in the defeat to South Africa Legends.
There was no shame in losing to South Africa Legends who were one of the stronger sides last year. As expected, New Zealand Legends were way too strong for Bangladesh Legends.
IN-L vs NZ-L Pitch Report
The match will be played at the Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore. It is a good batting wicket with the bowlers having to work hard for their wickets. Overall we expect spin bowlers to get more assistance from the pitch.
